• - There are 29 species of firefly in Malaysia
• - The measurement of firefly in Sungai Lebam is 6mm
• - They survive on mangroves that is called berembang tree
• - They feed on the leaves of berembang tree
• - Their lifespand on 15 days
• - Full moon is their mating season
• - During mating time, only female firefly that produces light
• -They lay eggs and later hatch after 7 days
• - When raining they sheltering themselves under the berembang leaves.
