- - There are 29 species of firefly in Malaysia
- - The measurement of firefly in Sungai Lebam is 6mm
- - They survive on mangroves that is called berembang tree
- - They feed on the leaves of berembang tree
- - Their lifespand on 15 days
- - Full moon is their mating season
- - During mating time, only female firefly that produces light
- -They lay eggs and later hatch after 7 days
- - When raining they sheltering themselves under the berembang leaves.
